Hello Everyone! Willy here a.k.a. #TinyTater updating you on our previous adventures yet again!
Recently, we were in the Clay County Fair in Green Cove Springs, Florida where we helped with the ride-in for the awesome crew who made the Clay County Fair possible. This year, the theme was “Big Wheels and Pig Squeals” and it was magnificent!
The bright, blinking lights of the rides, the smell of freshly made churros in the air, and the crescendo of different animal noises from the animal exhibits completed the ambiance of what a county fair should be.
At one point in the Clay County Fair, a thunderstorm warning was broadcasted on the loud speaker-encouraging everyone to find shelter. This put a bit of a pause in the festivities which later resumed after the thunderstorm had passed the vicinity.
A few days afterwards, we arrived at the Springtime Tallahassee Parade in Tallahassee, Florida with our floral decor ready to go! We were surrounded by beautiful parade floats with different themes, people who were ready to party it up, and had locals lined up ready to venture beside our 4-ton tater through the parade route!
The Springtime Tallahassee Parade was supposed to start at 10:00 am, later getting postponed to an hour due to a thunderstorm approaching the area. One by one the parade floats started to leave. Unfortunately, the parade was cancelled due to unforseen severe weather.
We hope that our next events we have lined up are blessed with better weather so we can share more potato love and joy! Stay tuned for next week’s update and in the meantime, stay safe out there and take care of each other!
