Do you like attention? Would you love to turn heads and be chased by photographers? It’s unavoidable when you’re touring the United States in a flashy red semi hauling a gigantic 4-ton Idaho® potato! This larger-than-life postcard generates excitement wherever it goes! As an ambassador for the Idaho Potato Commission, you will be part of a small, close knit PR team traveling coast to coast from February through October. The tour stops in major and not-so major cities across the country on this unprecedented campaign. The ideal candidate will be friendly and outgoing, comfortable with public speaking, adept at social media posting, and writing. Think of yourself as a potato influencer!
Video or photography skills would be a preferred added topping, as video content is a big part of the social media.
Must be available for training beginning in February, and ready to hit the road by March for your potato deployment. Position pays a contract salary per month, with flexible working hours, days off, and a generous living expense per-diem.
Not to mention that you get to see the country via a huge Idaho® potato! Bacon bits not included.
Candidates should reside in Idaho, go to school in Idaho or have an affiliation with Idaho. There’s an Idaho theme here.

Established in 1937, the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) is a state agency that is responsible for promoting and protecting the famous “Grown in Idaho®” seal, a federally registered trademark that assures consumers they are purchasing genuine, top-quality Idaho® potatoes. Idaho’s ideal growing conditions, including rich, volcanic soil, climate and irrigation differentiate Idaho® potatoes from potatoes grown in other states.
