The Tater team is officially IDAHOME! We have been traveling across the country for six months and we are finally back in Idaho! Our first stop back home was in Twin Falls for the Beta Sigma Phi- Idaho State Conference. Beta Sigma Phi is a non-academic sorority with members from across America! They were hosting their conference in Twin Falls, Idaho at the Canyon Crest Event Center. They invited us out to make an apperance during their conference brunch!

Upon arrival, the team went into the conference center to meet the Beta Sigma Phi members and we gave a speech on the truck and tour! The Beta Sigma Phi sisters were so much fun and they were interested to learn about the truck and the tour! After our Q/A session, the members went outside to see our supersized spud and get their photo taken! It was nice to meet all of the Beta Sigma Phi women and join their conference!
After the conference, we head to our homebase in Boise, ID where we made a surprise visit for SpudFest at the Bear Island Brewery! Part of the event proceeds went to the Boise Firefighter’s Local 149 Community Assistance Fund. There were vendors, spud activities, and a raffle at the event! There was even an Idahoan mashed potato eating contest that the team competed in! We had so much fun and it was a great welcome home event!
The team will be in Boise for the next two weeks and we have two local events coming up! Tomorrow we will be celebrating all things Idaho® Potatoes at Spud Days at Albertsons on Broadway! Then on Friday, we are going to the Hilltop Station where there will be a potato celebration with an all you can eat Idaho® potato bar! Then the team will be back on the road starting in October 7th because we’re doing a Farm tour to various farms throughout Idaho! We can’t wait to meet the farmers who work hard year round to grow quality Idaho® Potatoes!
