What an amazing week! We started off in Savannah, GA which was everything that you would expect. The entire city is oozing with southern charm. We we’re completely mesmerized by the huge trees dripping in spanish moss. We also got trapped in one of the most brilliant rain storms this year and we’ve seen a few great ones.
The second part of the week we spent in Orlando, Florida where the potato would be on display for the annual Food Blogger Conference. We’ve been looking forward to this event for two reasons, one Don Ordione from the potato commission and brought Linda from tater central would be attending. Secondly we would be staying at the beautiful Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. Staying in a resort was definitely a first for the tour so we took advantage of everything we could.
We kicked off the event with a morning show on Fox and you can catch the shenanigans above. The following three days were filled with delicious food, learning and networking. For our part we hosted the Idaho Potato Cam and where we asked and tested the bloggers potato knowledge. You can catch our micro interviews by searching the #Idahopotatocam.
I can’t forget to mention the most exciting part of the weekend – I sampled and then inhaled my first Cronut and my first Macaroon. OMG they were incredible! Someone needs to open a cronut shop in Boise before we get back!
