Tater Nation! Spudicus here with some big updates from the tour! I wanted to take some time to show you all the cool places we went to and all the fun things we did in June! It was a busy month with plenty of movin’ and boogin’! Here are all the events we did along with my favorite pictures from the events!
Preparing a batch of delicious french fries at David’s Burgers! The David’s Team was so helpful and let us get some photos and footage of prepping the fries behind the scenes. They then treated us to delicious burgers and fries when the event was done!
Here we are with our new friend, Nick on top of the flight tower at Latrobe Airport! This was a great show with some really neat aircraft! The staff at LaTrobe Airport staff was so accommodating and let us get some great footage and be around some cool aircraft! You couldn’t walk 20 feet without seeing a Top Gun Mustache!
A Mexican-style specialty baked potato from Zach and Lou’s Barbecue! We love hanging out with our long time Potato Tour friends Zach and Lou who took great care of us out in Torrington! So many potatoes were being given out that Zach and Lou ran out of Potatoes! They let us know that there will be sure to have more for next year!
We rocked around the potato in Rockaway, New Jersey! Three days of fun and potato love! We had plenty of families taking pictures with big smiles and high spirits! The whole fairgrounds were filled with the smell of delicious fair foods!
I love this picture because this reminds me of my dog, Butters! There were great dogs and great people at Parsons farms! The owner, Paul Parsons, was so helpful and an incredibly gracious host for the Tater Team!
Here is the Tater Team outside of Thrashers French Fries, a staple restaurant at the boardwalk in Ocean City! We had a blast taking turns playing games and going on rides! We played Idaho/potato-based trivia with our visitors to win Thrashers French Fry plushies!
Here we are at the Hunter Airfield Commissary with store operator, Cassidy! We had some time to hang out with military families at the base! We were able to give out whole Idaho Potatoes to our visitors! Everybody we spoke to were very welcoming and friendly!
